Somebody hand me my sunglasses. For Dior’s Fall ‘09 haute couture show in Paris, designer John Galliano turned up the color, and I for one loved every second of it. Bubblegum pink, foxy fuchsia, lemon and lime, scarlet red, intense orange, and posh purple frocks, suits, and voluminous blouses mingled with wild animal prints and ’50s-style underpinnings. There was a heavy dose of old-school glamour (very Audrey Hepburn in “Charade”), though not without a touch of whimsy, courtesy of extravagant feathered hats and a pale pink bow headpiece that makes Madonna’s Louis Vuitton bunny ears look low-key. And the handbags? Think classic and ladylike - chic framed bags in black croc and cream snakeskin. Please sir, can I have some more?

Looking much better than the last time we saw her coding on “Grey’s Anatomy,” actress Katherine Heigl attended to some baggage issues with hubby Josh Kelley. While Josh went low-key in a plaid shirt, Katherine glammed it up in movie star shades, white pants, and a navy and blue color palette. Oh, and let’s not forget her lush white Valentino Nuage Bow Tote, a fresh-looking and feminine purse that works surprisingly well as a carry-on thanks to its roomy size. Love the look!

Lindsay Lohan’s been quite the handbag bandit lately: Chanel, Gucci, Chloe, Gucci again…and now Linea Pelle’s black Dylan Bowling Bag. Linea Pelle is popular with a lot of young starlets (including Lauren Conrad), and I can’t blame them…the washed leather and trendy details (zips and gold hardware, in this case) are right on the money. I also kinda dig Lindsay’s gray romper…keep it up, girl.

Oh, that Sacha Baron Cohen and his radical fashion choices. As Bruno, Cohen’s given us teeny-tiny booty shorts, naked body suits, peekaboo thongs, and a bull costume, so this get-up accented by a Gucci messenger bag is actually pretty tame by comparison. Messenger bags aren’t really my thing, but I dig that classic green and red strap. And it matches his skintight leather trousers oh so well, don’t you think?

Those Kardashian sisters are everywhere, so why shouldn’t they be at the Michael Jackson public memorial too? Apparently the sisters were family friends of Michael Jackson, so it’s only fitting that they donned black ensembles and paid their respects. Of course, a little accessorizing never hurts, hence Kourtney Kardashian’s massive orange and black Fendi “To You” clutch. I hate to pick on someone in mourning, but that color combo is way too witchy for me. A simple black clutch or purse would have been a more appropriate choice for the occasion.

We’ve already shown you the watersnake version of Fendi’s Peek-a-Boo Tote, but here’s a funky new remake.
