It’s the love clutch! Resembling the heart dress that Victoria Beckham wore to his show a few seasons ago, Marc Jacobs decided to put hearts on everything. Pants that look like they’re pajamas and this leather clutch were all slapped with the cutout heart motif. Love it or hate it? I’ve seen the bag irl and it’s cute, but doesn’t seem very comfortable to lug around. The oversized shape and flaps are uncomfortable under the arm when you’re tooling around. It’s one I’d love to snag on sale though. At $795 it’s a bit trendy for the price, but hardcore MJ fans will love to have such an identifiable piece.  ’ve never heard of Stephane Verdino, but I’m loving some of the bags I see on saks.com! This one is simple and fabulous. It’s the Stephane Verdino Square Leather Tote. It’s soft, slouchy leather, made in France and tops out at $315. Proof that a bag does not have to cost upwards of $1000 to be made in France and of luxurious materials. I’m so excited to see designers creating moderately priced handbags that have all of the gusto of a pricey bag without the astronomical price tag. This bag looks like it could take a serious beating, making it great for work if you take public transit.

How does that saying go? “In like a lion, out like a lamb?” Yes, winter was a beast this year, forcing me to hibernate the past few months. I’m ready to go out and show off some style, and yes, I would like to go out with a L.A.M.B. handbag. Gwen Stefani’s pop-chic collection is still going strong when all of the other celebrity lines have failed. Why? That’s because the style and design transcend the starlet name factor as evidenced by the kudos of many fashion editors. Let me start out by saying that if I could trade places with any rock star, living or dead, it’d be Debbie Harry. Not only do I own a Blondie tee, but I happen to like white girl raps about Lincolns and Subarus. Which is why it pains me to reveal this destined-for-the-fashion-police-hold-up floral faux paus and furry orange purse. What was she thinking? Who knows. Who designed this Cheeto-hued monstrosity? You tell me. And has anyone seen Carrot Top lately? Debbie, call ME.

I am loving this delicious shade of metallic blue on this Prada Vitello Daino Tote. It’s hot with all-white, casual blouses and jeans, and is the perfect tote for spring and summer. The color looks a heck of a lot better on this tote than it does on some of the other Prada purses in this season’s new collection. Perhaps it’s the fact that this handbag doesn’t have jewels strewn about, but this one is definitely working for me. The hefty price tag of $1,760 might make me refrain from buying, but I will keep my eyes peeled on the spring and summer sales.
