Yes, the ladies do have many more sales to choose from, so the men in my life love to go crazy when they get wind of a shopping event just for them…
John Varvatos, is having a VIP/Employees/Guests only sale on Wednesday, May 7, before the general public gets in on the action. As Pursepage readers, you have the lucky privelage of being MY guests, and having access to the sale. Just mention you’re a friend of mine, an employee at the 19th street office. If you’re not familiar with the line, you have probably seen some of the black/white Alice Cooper ads on cabs, GQ designer of the year last year, and they recently made press for taking over the old CBGB space for their flagship boutique, while preserving a lot of the ‘artwork’ and other elements like a museum. The collection itself has great, luxe pieces with a rock n’roll edge. Sale prices are up to 75% retail for sportswear, footwear and accessories.
VIP Shopping: Wednesday May 7, 8am - 8pm
General Public Shopping: Thursday May 8, 8am - 8pm, Friday May 9, 8am - 6pm, Saturday May 10, 11am to 4pm

Just an update… I went to the sale with my boy toy (aka husband) and he bought a beautiful rich leather bag for $150 (retail $895) and a gorgeous military style leather jacket for $295 (retail $1400)
